Flavor'd Flow Studio History
Flavor'd Flow Studio is Columbus' first Hip-Hop cultural based dance studio and was founded in 2016 by James Alexander, also known as Bboy Osuga. Located on the south side of Columbus, Ohio and residing on the first floor of an old rec center, the gymnasium has been transformed into a hip-hop dance studio covered in graffiti art and positivity.

James Alexander also know as Bboy Osuga was born and raised in Columbus Ohio. He was introduced to Hip-Hop culture in 1993 and start breakin' in 1998. He got his teaching start at Central Ohio Dance Academy in 2001. James started performing all around Columbus and traveling the country to compete. Osuga has won many competitions around the Midwest. Mr. Alexander also was furthering his career teaching at a lot of studios around the city. He has taught at BalletMet, Luv2dance, GymSkills, Columbus Youth Ballet as well as many others. Today James judges competitions around the region. James travels around Ohio and the Midwest to teach workshops at Universities and other dance studios. He hope to continue to pass down the life lessons and values that Hip-Hop and Breakin' has taught him.
Flavor'd Flow Studio with make an impact in children's lives through Hip-Hop culture and it's dances. The classes will instill confidence, discipline, and structure through foundation. Each child will learn the importance of respect, diversity, hard work, and team work. Our main goal is to help each student become young professionals and be prepared to follow their dreams! To give all the b-boys and b-girls an outlet and a safe place to dance. Flavor'd Flow Studio will be the home for Columbus Hip-Hop. Through Flavor'd Flow Studio we will educate people about Hip-Hop culture and the dances. To help change the image/stigma of what the media has portrayed Hip-Hop.
